About the role

Pullman Kuching is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Food & Beverage to lead our prestigious food and beverage operations. This is a full-time role based in Kuching, Sarawak, where you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of our diverse dining outlets.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations, including menu development, inventory management, cost control, and staff training and development
• Developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue growth
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across all food and beverage outlets
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and industry partners
• Collaborating with the hotel management team to align food and beverage initiatives with the overall business objectives
• Effectively managing and mentoring a team of food and beverage professionals

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Director of Food & Beverage or senior food and beverage management role within the hospitality industry
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence, improving financial performance, and enhancing the guest experience
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Sound knowledge of food and beverage industry trends, regulations, and best practices
• Proficiency in budgeting, inventory management, and financial reporting
