Jawatan Kosong Data Entry Clerk in Butterworth

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly efficient and accurate Data Entry Clerk to manage and update our company’s database. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with a keen eye for detail, responsible for transferring data from paper formats into computer systems or databases, and ensuring all information is entered correctly and in a timely manner. Proficiency with typing and a strong understanding of data confidentiality principles are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

· Accurately input data from source documents into prescribed computer databases, files, and forms.

· Transcribe information from handwritten notes, paper forms, or digital files into the company's system.

· Verify data by comparing it to source documents and review all data for errors, missing information, or inconsistencies.

· Update existing data and perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.

· Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested by team members.

· Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding all information entered and managed.

· Organize and manage files and records to ensure they are stored correctly and are easy to locate.

· Perform regular data quality checks to identify and correct any discrepancies.

· Follow data program techniques and procedures and comply with data integrity and security policies.

· Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform other routine clerical tasks as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar role (e.g., Administrative Assistant, Office Clerk).

· Knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word).

· Familiarity with database management and office equipment, such as printers and scanners.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
