Job Description:

• Strategically plan and forecast future product demands in accordance with financial objectives, determining optimal purchasing quantities, frequency, and distribution spread for each brand subcategory.
• Establish Recommended Consumer Price and Targeted Initial & Maintain Product Margins to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Collaborate with the Procurement Department to procure products meeting planned needs, obtaining feedback on product cost, fabric, and quality.
• Evaluate in-season performance and recommend adjustments to achieve sales, margin, and turnover objectives.
• Ensure appropriate stocking of products in stores to optimize sales potential while minimizing lost sale opportunities.
• Analyze product performance using system-generated reports, proposing stock movement, replenishment, consolidation, promotions, or markdowns as required.
• Obtain feedback from retail personnel on customer reactions to new product launches post-release, and compare results with previous season's launches.
• Review product performance reports with inter-departmental members to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain close communication with the warehouse to ensure efficient stock allocation and movement.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years' experience in a buying/merchandising role within the retail industry, preferably in fashion retail.
• Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and adeptness in analytical techniques.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet stringent deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
