Supervisor QHSE Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the effective administration, implementation, and coordination of all safety, health and environment related policies, standards, procedure, systems and statutory requirements in the Company.
• Monitor and enforce QHSE compliance at the workplace.
• Provide support to Vantage Group Operation from QHSE point of view.
• Ensure workplace health, safety and environmental compliance with regulations, company policies and standards.
• Responsible for the effective administration, implementation, and coordination of all Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (QHSE) related policies, standards, procedure, systems and statutory requirements within the Company
• Handle all Vantage Group QHSE related matters in dedicated Base &/ office location
• To support the area of responsibility by attending and participating in daily HSE activities i.e. Toolbox, JHA formulation, PTW, etc.
• Awareness of QHSE Management System requirement
• Support and execute the processes to achieve QHSE Objective
• To guide the operation team to use the required HSE tools in their daily operations
• To conduct HSE inspection for specific equipment such as mobile equipment, emergency response equipment, lifting gears, critical safety equipment, waste and chemical arrangement and daily inspection at workplace; etc
• To assist in development and review of JHA, Aspect Impact, SOP, Work Instruction, etc.
• Aware of all STOP Cards raised at the area of responsibility, ensure the STOP CARD has been documented/communicated and monitor the closure of STOP Card raised
• To enforce compliance to HSE requirements and procedures to the employees on site; i.e; use of personnel protective equipment, waste segregation, chemical handling, etc
• To highlight any non-conformity or high risk observation to the respective Department PIC and QHSE Manager
• To cascade HSE information, lesson learnt, and promote HSE awareness to all employees and subcontractor
• To ensure that all incidents including near misses are reported and participate in investigation process
• To follow up on necessary action to be taken from findings of walkabout, inspection, audit, recommendation from incident, etc
• Assist in conducting induction to visitor / client
• Organizing HSE documentation including filing and updating documents to ensure that all necessary HSE documentation are up to date and good retrieve
• Undertake any other job responsibilities as and when assigned from time to time
• Lead and coordinate daily HSE activities i.e toolbox, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) formulation, Permit To Work (PTW) etc.
• Conduct safety briefing, regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspection for specific equipment such as mobile equipment, emergency response equipment, lifting gears, critical safety equipment, waste and chemical arrangement at the work place.

Requirements

• Must posses at least a Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Professional Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health or related field
• Minimum 2 to 5 years' experience as an QHSE Officer in Oil and Gas Industry
• OSH Coordinator certified is an advantage

Competency

• Strong knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels
• Proficient in data analysis and report writing
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Good understanding in ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS 18001 implementation
• In-depth knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations.
• Understanding of QHSE Management system, processes, and methodology
• Capable of Organizing and conducting meetings and briefings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
