Jawatan Kosong Credit Controller in Petaling Jaya

What will you be doing?

• Manage the credit controlling function for Malaysia operations.

• Ensure compliance with KONE’s Credit Control and Treasury policies.

• Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection and resolving any outstanding issues.

• Collaborate with Delivery Operations and Sales to maintain healthy project financing through timely claims, invoicing, collection, and release of retention money.

• Resolve end-to-end disputes with customers promptly.

• Conduct account receivable and doubtful debt provision reconciliations.

• Work with stakeholders, including management, business lines, and Shared Service Centre collectors, to ensure effective accounts receivable management and credit control.

• Lead and coach collectors in following up on overdue accounts receivable.

• Establish credit limits and payment terms for customers.

• Monitor customer accounts receivables using SAP / FSCM AR, recommending necessary legal actions and credit blocks for delinquent customers.

• Support audit processes and schedules related to order-to-cash, accounts receivable, and doubtful debt provision reconciliations, ensuring compliance with IFRS.

Key activities:

• Manage and monitor credit exposure to customers.

• Conduct regular credit reviews for existing and new customers.

• Resolve invoicing and collection discrepancies.

• Conduct monthly accounts receivable governance meetings.

• Support Sales in reviewing payment terms and credit exposure for new contracts.

• Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and project financing status.

• Review blocked service contracts and invoices to ensure timely resolution.

• Guide Assistant Controllers and Collectors in driving on-time collections and maintaining good project financing levels.

• Support regular collection calls with operations and sales.

• Work with Legal and Operations to manage delinquent payment issues.

• Review and approve invoice cancellations and unblock customer accounts.

• Meet with customers to settle payments.

• Recommend required monthly doubtful debt provisions.

• Provide monthly forecasts on collections, accounts receivable, and doubtful debt expenses.

• Support statutory audits by providing necessary schedules and information.

• Assist with the implementation of any financial systems.

• Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Are you the one?

• Solid experience in credit controlling and accounts receivable management, preferably in medium to large multinational corporations.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate and interact actively with all stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented and willing to be hands-on.

• At least 10 years of experience in credit controlling, with at least 3 years in the construction and real estate management industry.

• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

• Degree in Finance/Accountancy.
