Ansell is looking for a Senior Specialist, Logistics (Invoice Process, Documentation & Audit Control) to join our team in Cyberjaya. This position is responsible on global freight transportation freight bill verification & payment process. What your role will be? Reporting to Global Logistics Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
- Generate, analyze, and report data contained within Logistics Reports and Freight Summary Reports.
- Prepare and present reports on regular basis as assigned.
- Conduct bi week any discrepancy checks on any Monitoring / Tracking / Logistics Reports.
- Support / Monitor on KPI (Key Performance Index)/ Service Level Agreement with LSP.
- Ensure documentation, procedures and processed are compiled and filed properly.
- Develop reports showing transportation costs on precise projects and moves. Support with maintenance of logistics planning task,logistics policies, procedures, support plans and similar data.
- Maintain & keep records / filling of all freight and related charges quotations & tenders.
- Maintain and update standard operating policies relates to billing process.
- Support / Monitor on KPI (Key Performance Index) / Service Level Agreement with LSP.
- Provide freight statistical reports.
- Capable of analyzing the reports generated and provide support/solutions.
- On-going managing the LSP costs effectiveness and efficiency to achieve the set targets.
- Support on Internal Ansell Plants & Outsource Suppliers escalation and inquiries related to Freight Transportation / Logistics matters.
- To interface and work with LSP to resolve billing issues.
- Review and analyze program effectiveness, suggest, and execute on time improvements and corrective actions.
- Lead and manage new vendor setup and support new vendor onboarding program.
- Provide guidelines on import or export custom paperwork to ensure smooth shipment.
- Provide oversight of process to ensure shipments/logistics are moving through established freight forwarders and provide assistance in difficult issues.
- Manage stakeholders, customers, vendors expectations and other tasks assigned by superior or/and management.
What will you bring to Ansell?
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics or equivalent
- Working experience in Logistics operating/functional role & responsibilities.
- Possessed in depth knowledge of carrier’s functions.
- Good knowledge of Logistics, warehousing & distribution, Ocean/Air/Road/Rail Freight & Courier Express services.
- Acquired knowledge in general shipping matters – ie.L/C, shipping documentation, marine insurance claims, CFS & Port operations, customs clearance, freighting, shipment terms, etc.
- PC skills with an emphasis on spreadsheets and data base programs. Well versed in MS Office software – ie. Ms-Word, Ms-Excel and Ms-PowerPoint.
- Excellent & strong analytical, oral and written communication skills.
- Good negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills and ability to identify, drive and resolve issues with other groups effectively.
- Knowledgeable and experience in international logistics receiving and shipping models & process flows set up, networks & solutions and basic Supply Chain Management
