Job Vacancy: Site Safety Supervisor

Position: Site Safety Supervisor
Location: Segamat, Johor
Employment Type: Contract

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts or conditions.
• Ensure all work activities are carried out safely and in accordance with HSE requirements.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for site personnel.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss cases and prepare reports.
• Coordinate and maintain safety documentation and records.
• Ensure all workers use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities on safety matters.
• Support implementation of risk assessments and permit-to-work systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
• Valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification / Yellow Book.
• Minimum 2–5 years of working experience in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
• Good knowledge of safety regulations and HSE practices.
• Able to conduct safety training and toolbox talks.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in pressure testing, mechanical installation, piping, or skid projects is an advantage.
