As the Analyst, Loan Operations (Labuan) at MUFG Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, you will be responsible for providing operational support to the Loan Operations team in Labuan. This full-time role will involve processing loan transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The position is based in Labuan.

What you'll be doing

• Process loan drawdowns, repayments, and other loan-related transactions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan records and documentation
• Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve inquiries and issues
• Provide administrative support to the Loan Operations team as needed
• Assist in the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements

Requirements:

• Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Business Administration, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Information Technology or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.
• Preferably with minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in a bank would be an added advantage. Fresh graduates also can be considered.

• Good knowledge & experience in compliance and sanction matters related to all aspects of banking
• Sound understanding of the operational workflows in structured trade finance, corporate and syndicated credit and loan processing, banking accounts servicing, and treasury products settlement will be added advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in written and spoken English
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS applications ie Words, Excel
• Flexibility and could work well independently and as a member of a team with minimal supervision
• Basic problem-solving skills and good communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and be highly organized
