Job Description

The Position will report to Financial Controller with work base in manufacturing facility in Malaysia. This position will work closely with site operational team including Production, Planning, Sourcing, Procurement, Warehouse team etc

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Account Payables & Cash Flow Management

1. Bank reconciliation

2. 3 months rolling Cashflow forecast

3. Hedging

4. Concur claim review

5. Review Creditor reconciliation performed

• Inventory Management

1. Stock adjustments review and posting.

2. Cycle count audit and review and posting.

• Period End Closing & Reporting

1. Inventory FIFO execution to reinstate the inventory at lowest of cost or net realizable value

2. Inventory – (RM, WIP, Project WIP, SNB, FG, Provision)

3. Stock Turn – 3 months & 12 months

4. RM Days of Supply

5. AR & AP Aging (to action if overdue)

6. Monthly Accrual – Freight & Other recurring expenses

• Assist on reviewing & enforce Internal Control on AR/AP/GL/Treasury/FA (based of CSA).
• To ensure Freight expense capture on time including weekly meetings with Trax, review Creditor reconciliation & proposed accrual to drive Division cost savings initiatives.
• To support Internal Audits and Statutory audits
• To perform any ad hoc task as assigned

The Individual

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
• At least 3 years relevant experience in Manufacturing or Audit Industry
• Team Player with Positive Mindset
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Excel, SAP
• The ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
