Jawatan Kosong Junior Mine Geologist in Dungun

• Carry Out All geological related jobs including grade control drilling, supervising diamond drilling activity, RC drilling for resources.

• Supervise and Conduct Geological and Geotechnical Logging of diamond drilling core and RC.

• Carry out geological pit mapping and sampling, Drill and blast chip logging and sampling, ore control support and sampling geological mapping and sampling.

• Interpretation of mapping, drilling and analysis to determine the grade, size, location of the mineral ore body for mining.

• Compiles and interprets geologic and assay data that will assist in solving grade distribution questions (ore-waste boundaries, dilution) and facilitates efficient mining.

• Provide geological support to Mine Operations and Process Plan Operation

• Monitor mining activities to ensure all ores are sent to plant based on geological and geochemical data

• Daily and Monthly Reporting using 3D mining software

• Supervise sample collection for accuracy and consistency, time delivery send sample for magnetic separation or assaying.

• Compliance with assignment from management.

• Ensure all activities are conduct safely and in accordance with company standard and procedure. Committed to safe working practices and strives for zero harm.

• Monitor stockpiles and plant blend.

• Understanding metallurgy sampling and bulk density sampling is an advantaged.

• Commence pitting and trenching at certain interest area.

• Responsible in monitoring of drilling programs.

• Responsible in monitoring of geophysical and geochemical surveys.

• Responsible in logging of drill core and cuttings.

• Responsible in technical and statutory reporting.

• Experience in liaising with drilling contractors and field personnel.

Requirement

• Have 1-3 years’ experience exposed to mineral industry (iron, copper, gold) for Mine geology

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
