Jawatan Kosong EAP Counselor in Bayan Lepas

JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Providing On-Site Services:

• Conducting mental health assessments through interviews, conversations, and evaluations.
• Employing appropriate testing methods to evaluate clients' mental health and overall well-being.

2. Work Scope Includes, but is Not Limited to:

• Conducting face-to-face counselling sessions, structured telephone counselling sessions, group counselling sessions, relationship counselling sessions and relevant workshop, training and administration, reporting and documentation and crisis management.
• Facilitating relevant workshops, training sessions, and crisis management activities.
• Organizing wellness group sessions and maintaining daily/weekly/monthly event wellness calendars, presentations, reports, and materials in collaboration with the Team Wellness Lead.
• Conducting team check-ins as needed.
• Offering positive assistance and information to callers based on their needs.
• Developing action plans for problem resolution, including crisis situations.
• Educating patients on effective coping strategies and stress- management techniques.
• Conducting assessments and coordinating referral options.
• Managing 24/7 hotline calls and providing necessary Professional First Aid (PFA) support.
• Maintaining confidential customer and client records in accordance with
• professional ethics and codes of practice.
• Generating monthly reports, submitting case notes within 24 hours SLA, and performing ad hoc duties as required for the project.

• Participating in weekly meetings, reporting, and supervision sessions with both clients and the team.3. Preparing, Arranging, and Conducting Mental or Psychological Events:

• Organizing onsite or virtual events requested by the client.

4. Monitoring and Responding to Emergency Cases:

• Being vigilant and responsive to emergency situations.

5. Standby Duty:

• Being available during holidays or off days in case of client or Solace
• emergencies.

6. Punctuality Standard (KPI):

• Demonstrating punctuality in all scheduled wellness sessions.

7. Team Collaboration:

• Maintaining a team spirit and being available to support the team as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must possess at least master’s degree in counselling, Psychology, or relevant fields with at least 3 years of experience.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication skills in the English language.
• Fluency in additional languages is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Effective time-management abilities to ensure timely session organization.
• Capability to multitask, including tasks such as reporting.
• Knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders.
• Demonstrated ability to display empathy and handle clients with patience.
• Confidence and trustworthiness in maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality of client details.
• Familiarity with current developments and research in mental health, with a focus on teenagers and families considered a plus.
• Flexibility to work both collaboratively within a team and independently.
• Hybrid working conditions. To be physically present at the client's office and onsite as required, on a weekly basis or as requested.
• Registered membership with the Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia with a valid and active practicing license.

Important Note:

• Contractual position for 1 year and will be renewed upon project confirmation.
• Able to work on rotational shift as per below.
• 1. 7am - 4pm2. 9am - 6pm
• Must be able to start immediately.
