Jawatan Kosong SAFETY & HEALTH OFFICER CONSTRUCTION - GREEN BOOK ONLY in Bayan Lepas

Requirement/Qualification:

• Degree/ Diploma in Engineering (Environmental / health/safety) or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience in construction or related field.
• Must be registered with NIOSH and possess valid GREEN BOOK.
• Good people management skills.

Job type: Contract (12 months ++)

JOB SCOPE

• To oversee safety & health matters at the construction site.
• To liaise with the relevant authorities or clients on all safety & health issues.
• Manage the overall occupational Safety and Health administration to ensure conformance to safety standard and legislation.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to identify areas for improvements and oversee operational HSE matters.
• Promote a team environment and initiate, lead and drive cross functional team projects to successful completion.
• Keep abreast with recommended codes of practice and safety regulations; circulate the relevant information to all employees.
• Work closely with the Project Manager pertaining to safety requirement.
• To establish and implement overall safety & health management system and ensure compliance with the government rules and regulations.
• To lead investigations for all types of incidents (medical treatment case, first aid case, restricted workday case, fatality (including high-potential & near-miss incidents) and recommend corrective actions effectively preventing the recurrence of the event. This includes having strong reporting and investigation skills.
• To conduct tool box meetings, safety briefing, safety induction and relevant meetings with all site personnel to ensure safety & health procedures are clearly understood.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
